Charlie Russell's Old West Vacation…
No one captured the beauty, hardship and romance of the American west more honestly or poignantly than painter Charlie Russell. Charlie witnessed first hand the early stages of the taming of the west. His works give us special insight into the days of the open range, and the struggles faced by natives and pioneers alike.

This package allows a full day to enjoy the largest collection of Charlie's work in the world. You'll also see his very own log-cabin studio and spend a delightful 3-1/2 hours aboard the Charlie Russell Chew Choo traversing a landscape that is remarkable similar to the one Charlie saw and painted.

You'll have it a lot easier than the Corps of Discovery on our 3-night package to the Great Falls of the Missouri. Forced to portage around the falls, Lewis and Clark and their party spent nearly over a month in and around North Central Montana. This package includes a day at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center and a day floating the river in a raft or canoe with a professional guide. Take a few minutes, or hours, to walk or bike along the breathtaking Rivers' Edge Trail on the banks of the “Mighty Missouri” and imagine how the Corps of Discovery made their arduous journey.
