The Government Affairs & Advocacy Committee serves as the Chamber’s voice with city, county, state, and federal leaders, working to advance policies that support business growth, strengthen our community, and ensure members are represented in key conversations.

The Government Affairs & Advocacy Committee monitors public policy and legislative issues that impact the local business community. We engage with elected officials and agency leaders, provide timely updates to Chamber members, and advocate for positions aligned with the Chamber’s priorities.

Jordyn Shamek is Vice President at the Chamber of Commerce. She supports chamber objectives to promote local business growth, community engagement, and regional economic development. |
