Shane Etzwiler, President/CEO of the Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, and Chamber Board Chair, Scott Anderson, attended the 2023 Business Days at the Capitol, an annual event hosted by the Montana Chamber of Commerce. This event coincides with the start of the Legislative Session in odd-numbered years, candidate filings in even-numbered years, and focuses on legislative and public policy issues relevant to Montana businesses. During this year’s sold-out event, special attention was brought to matters including civil litigation issues, the state of energy across Montana, and improving the business climate for more manufacturing in the Treasure State.

“Business Days at the Capitol is an annual event I attend to make connections with other business leaders from across the state. It assists in my efforts to be well-informed on various issues, as well as learn about opportunities to continue to grow our state, cities, and communities. It is an honor to attend and represent the Great Falls Area.” ~ Shane Etzwiler

Governor Greg Gianforte, Todd O’Hair

Montana Secretary of State, Christi Jacobson, Lieutenant Governor Kristen Juras, and many others spoke on these topics from their point of view, and Governor Greg Gianforte provided “The Last Word” at the closing lunch for the event.

Events like these demonstrate why the Chamber of Commerce is so important to businesses in each community they serve. We advocate for your business on bills you may not be aware of to ensure your business can continue to thrive in our beautiful state.

“Business Days at the Capitol was a great opportunity to strengthen our relationships with state business leaders and elected officials. Shane and the Great Falls Chamber do a great job representing our members every chance they get.” ~ Scott Anderson

As Shane says, “I consider it a privilege to serve you!” We thank you for supporting YOUR Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce as we continue to advocate for you.
